Maryjane attaches the session to that batch's terpene and cannabinoid numbers, whether they came from a scanned lab report or from what you typed in. It keeps track of which is which.
See what repeats
When a profile shows up with the same effect across many sessions and more than one product, Maryjane shows it to you with the session count, product count, and a confidence level. Until then, it shows nothing.
Why Maryjane
A strain name can't tell you how it will feel.
Strain names aren't standardized. Two growers can sell different plants under one name, and the same grower's next harvest can test differently. Even with the same chemistry, your dose, tolerance, and timing change the result. So Maryjane tracks the batch and your sessions, not the name.

Save each product with its batch, potency, terpene and cannabinoid profile, and price. Track how much is left if you want to. A restock gets its own batch record, because its chemistry can differ from the last one.

Scan a certificate of analysis or type in what's on the label. Maryjane calls a batch lab-tested only when every value came from a scanned COA. Anything typed in by hand gets marked chemistry-recorded.

What it takes to show you a pattern.
One good session isn't a pattern. Maryjane shows a chemistry pattern only when it holds across repeated sessions and more than one product, and when your results vary enough to compare. It reports what appeared together. It doesn't claim one thing caused the other.

Do I need lab-tested products?
No. Type in what the label says, or log the effect without chemistry. A scanned lab report gives Maryjane more to compare.
How long before I see patterns?
The insights page opens after seven sessions. Chemistry patterns usually take longer, and depend on how many different products you log. Each one shows the sessions and products behind it.
Is my data private?
Your sessions stay in your account. Research sharing is off by default. If you turn it on, Maryjane separates your data from your identity and uses it only in totals of at least 25 people. You can turn it off at any time. Read the Privacy Policy.
Is this medical advice?
No. Maryjane is a personal log for adults 21+. It doesn't diagnose or treat anything, and it isn't a substitute for talking to a doctor.
