The Science of a Better High

Log the effect.Find the chemistry.

Cannabis affects everyone differently. Maryjane helps you understand what's working for you and what isn't. Over time, your history reveals the product chemistry and patterns behind your experience.

How it works

From what you felt to what was in it.

01

Log how it felt

Choose the product and add what you noticed—calm, focused, sleepy, or any other effect. About 20 seconds; dose and context stay optional.

02

Connect the chemistry

Maryjane connects that outcome to the product's terpene and cannabinoid profile, while keeping the batch, dose, and context in view.

03

Find what repeats

Across enough sessions and products, Maryjane surfaces the chemistry–outcome associations that hold up in your history.

Why Maryjane

A strain name can't tell you how it will feel.

Two products with the same name can carry different terpene and cannabinoid profiles. And the same chemistry can affect people differently. Maryjane looks past the label and learns from your actual sessions.

What's inside

Know what was in the product. Learn what repeats for you.

One place to keep the batch, read the chemistry profile, and connect it to what you actually noticed.

01

Keep the batch

A stash that remembers the batch.

Keep products, potency, terpene and cannabinoid profiles, price, and what's left together—because the chemistry belongs to the batch you actually used.

02

Read the profile

Chemistry without the homework.

See terpenes, cannabinoids, ratios, and potency in plain language. Enough detail to understand the product—not a lecture before you can log it.

03

Follow the effect

Patterns that earn their place.

Maryjane connects what you reported to the chemistry behind each session, then waits for enough evidence before calling it a pattern.

Who it's for

Less lore. More of your own history.

Maryjane is for adults who care what was in the product, notice how a session felt, and are willing to keep a small record. You do not need to be a cannabis expert.

  1. 01

    You look past the label.

A strain name and THC number are not enough context for the choice you want to make.

  2. 02

You can spare about 20 seconds.

Log the product and one outcome now; add dose or context when it matters.

  3. 03

    You want your own signal.

You care more about what repeats in your history than what generic lore predicts.

Our standard

A pattern has to earn the name.

One good session is a clue—not a conclusion. Maryjane waits for repeated associations across sessions and products, keeps dose and context in view, and never turns correlation into a promise.

01 Repeat count
How often did the outcome and chemistry appear together?
02 Product diversity
Did the signal hold across more than one product?
03 Confidence
How much weight has the association actually earned?

FAQ

What to know before you log.

It starts simple, gets more useful with history, and stays honest about what your data can support.

Do I need lab-tested products?

No. You can log with the chemistry you know. Better batch data makes patterns clearer, but it is not required to start.

How many sessions before I see patterns?

The Insights page unlocks after seven sessions, but chemistry patterns appear only when your history supports them. Every pattern shows sample size and confidence—we do not invent signal from thin data.

Is my data private?

Your sessions stay in your account. Research contribution is opt-in only (off by default) and uses anonymized aggregates with a minimum user threshold. Read the Privacy Policy.

Is this medical advice?

No. Maryjane is a personal tracking and pattern tool for adults 21+. It does not diagnose, treat, or recommend medical decisions.
